Shipping policy
Dale's Leatherworks is a small, owner-run business. Every item is handmade by me, one order at a time, so please don't expect items to arrive quickly. Thank you for your patience. It's what lets me make things the right way.
Processing time
- Most items (kilties, insoles, half insoles, belts, cuffs): 2–5 business days to make before they ship.
- Backpacks: made to order in your choice of leather. Please allow 8–12 weeks.
- Custom orders: timing depends on the request. I'll give you an estimate when we talk details.
- During holidays or shop breaks, processing can take longer. Any break will be announced at the top of the site.
Shipping
- All orders ship with USPS from Brooklyn, Maryland.
- Domestic delivery usually takes 3–5 business days after your order ships.
- Shipping rates vary by location and package, and are calculated at checkout.
- Orders under $25 ship without tracking. Orders of $25 and up include tracking.
International orders
I ship worldwide. International shipping is expensive and can take several weeks. Customs duties, taxes, and import fees are the buyer's responsibility and are not included in the price or shipping cost.
Lost or delayed packages
Once a package is handed to USPS, delivery times are out of my hands. If your tracking hasn't updated in a while or you think something's wrong, message me with your order number and I'll help sort it out. Please make sure your shipping address is correct at checkout. I'm not responsible for packages sent to an address entered incorrectly.
