Walpier DASH Chestnut Kilties

Dash Vegetable Tanned Leather comes from Conceria Walpier Tannery in Tuscany, Italy. They are well known for their traditional methods of vegetable tanning with tree barks that go back 100's of years.

Dash is combination of rich pullup and gloss shine that is from a special ironing process. The glazed finish gives amazing depth, almost like looking through a glass pane.  It is more firm than a vacchetta leather, this stiffness give a nice rigidity to projects. It is full vegetable tanned and will patina nicely over time. This is their top grade, it is full grain and come from double shoulders which means no belly. The colors are very nice and rich, it is full aniline meaning dyed with no color correction ensuring the leather has that natural look and feel to it.
